December 11, 2014, STEM teachers took 40 geography students to the Heifer Village in Little Rock. Here students learned about ending hunger and poverty through sustainable agriculture, education, health and nutrition, and markets. Later this Spring these students will synthesize this information and create public service announcements and fund raisers to do their part in helping to end world hunger.
